CAW 2019 to kick off with Awards Night in Coláiste Bríde

College Awareness Week 2019 will be launched in Coláiste Bríde, Clondalkin, whose annual Awards Night on 20th November will be combined with a Pathways to College event.

All nominated students along with their parents will be invited to the school’s Annual Awards Ceremony to come together to celebrate the successes of our students. Parents and Guardians will go on a Pathways to Success Journey, where they learn more about Coláiste Bríde’s ‘College For Every Student’ programme. There will be creative and engaging presentations from students on the programme’s activities, post Leaving Certificate Options and a study-skills workshop. Parents/guardians will have a ‘passport’ which maps out how parents can help support their daughter’s learning journey as she prepares her own future pathway to success.

Louise Ronan, school Deputy Principal, said, “Every student leaving Coláiste Bríde will have a plan for their future pathway. The night hopes to join the dots for girls and their parents, showing that work done in the classroom every day will be what helps the student achieve their full potential on the next phase of their learning journey.”

College Awareness Week was founded within the Trinity Access Programmes, and is supported by official sponsor, Perrigo, and government sponsors SOLAS, the Higher Education Authority, the Union of Students in Ireland, the National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals and Trinity College Dublin.
