CAW Strikes Silver at the Accenture Digital Media Awards 2016!

The College Awareness Week team was thrilled to receive a Silver Award in the Accenture Digital Media Awards 2016. Imagine our surprise when our name was called out and flashed across the big screen at the gala DMA night in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Dublin!

We knew we were on the shortlist when a giant neon-coloured cupcake was delivered to the office, with instructions for us to use our creative juices to tweet the great news, using glow-in-the-dark neon strips…

By coincidence, those strips and the cupcake were very similar in colour to our sunny CAW logo. So, what better way to use those strips than to make ripples to show how the ripple effect of CAW can work, night or day. The logo symbolises the ripple effect that is created in communities across Ireland when just one person encourages a student to seek further education.

Here are some photos from our triumphant night at the awards – and a few from our fun ‘shortlisted’ shoot at The Lovely Food Co, Terenure, Dublin. Many thanks to our sponsors AIB and Perrigo, and their representatives who joined us for the awards evening!
