Open University Dublin Open Day
November 20 @ 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm
As part of College Awareness Week 2019 we are running an Open Day in our Dublin office on Wednesday 20 November 2019 from 2pm to 7pm. If you are new to the Open University, then our Dublin Open Day is the ideal place to get answers to your questions!
College Awareness Week is a national campaign promoting the benefits of going to college, to help all students to become college-ready.
A team of Advisors will be available to chat to you about courses, qualifications and OU study methods.
Drop in to talk to us and find out what’s different about The Open University. You may have questions about how studying with us will work for you. Come along for an informal chat with some of our Lecturers and Advisors to discuss your study aims and our range of qualifications. We can tell you more about how OU learning works and how we can support you with your study.
As part of the event we will be running a free seminar from 17:00-18:00 ‘Online and distance learning – the realities!’
The seminar will be presented by Gill Blackburn, Open University Associate Lecturer, Faculty of Business and Law. In this seminar, Gill will give you an overview of the advantages of distance education. Just drop in – no appointment is needed!
