St Aidan’s Community School CAW week

• CAW poster display in foyer of school by 6th Year LCA VOC class.
• 11 Sixth year students are attended an Engineering Taster Workshop in TU Tallaght on Monday 21st in the morning.
• Teacher forms detailing where they attended college and their qualifications displayed on classroom doors.
• At 1pm on Tuesday 22nd, there was a DEAT time (Drop everything and Talk) where teachers can take a moment to talk to their class about their experience of College and any advice they may have for students.
• A powerpoint about CAW was circulated to tutors during tutorial time and shown to students. It explained about CAW, reasons for going to college and details on entering quiz related to this on Wednesday and Thursday in the Library.
• In addition, a video was made which is compiled selfie videos of past pupils from St Aidan’s sharing their experience of college and school, and advice for our current students.

• Trinity Access Programme ambassadors visited visiting 6th year students years on Tuesday 22nd and gave lots of information about access programmes HEAR, DARE and SUSI grants as well as a great presentation on the Trinity Access programme.
