Working in the Arts: Pathways to The National Library of Ireland

Often students can be faced with a limited amount of information about working in the arts, culture, heritage or creative sectors of the working world, with some students unclear of their path after completing an arts degree.

As part of College Awareness week, this talk is aimed at post primary students seeking career guidance in the arts sector, or students who are completing an arts and humanities degree. This online talk will explore the different pathways some of the staff of The National Library of Ireland have taken to work at this National Cultural Institution.

Touching on a variety of roles within The National Library of Ireland, this talk will explore college courses, internships, work experiences and the variety of opportunities pursuing a career in the arts can present.
