After a successful pilot, students will book tickets to attend these events using the Eventbrite app. This increases exposure and creates a level of excitement among the student body in anticipation of event. It also provides an event management tool to the guidance counsellors, who know exactly which students are attending which event.

We will launch a change to the method for booking career guidance appointments from a paper appointment slip to an electronic booking system using Doodle. We have piloted this with one group of students and have found it very useful. Students can cancel if necessary and rebook. Guidance counsellors can control the number of appointments available on any given day. Students who are staying home due to Covid can also book virtual appointments using Google Meet.
