6th years & LCA 2 will meet with Siobhan Mc Carthy from CSN for a talk and dicussion about PLC courses.

On Friday the 18th of November all 5th year and some 6th year students will attend Cork's MTU open day. Each student has been given the open day booklet to plan out their lectures and lunch and to get the very best from the day.

Each year Presentation Ballyphehane award two scholarships to junior cycle and senior cycle students, worth 50€ each. The scholarship is based upon UCC's famous Quercus scholarship. Students can be awarded for their achievements in sport, academia, Vounteering, performing arts or music. This scholarship remains a strong tradition in the school, as it is in memory...

All junior cycle students are competing against other year groups to win the best college / career / motivational door decorating competition. Each year group use their base classrooms door to design and decorate - all other students get to admire the hard work and inspiration gone into each display.

All staff in Presentation Ballyphehane are submitting their graduation pictures along with some celebrity graduations. We have made one life size cut out of our fantatic HSCL teacher, which highlights her educational journey. These will be displayed at the CAW stand and all other graduations will be displayed on a flipchart throughout the week.

All 1st years with their teacher will plant a level Birch tree donated by CAW 2022 on the school grounds, they will also be burying their time capsules - its not a dream, its a plan' to be dug up on the day they receive their Leaving certificate results.

The highlight of the week will be guest motivational speaker Karen Underwood, speaking to our senior cycle students followed by a launch of 'Chill out zone 2', a new wellbeing space.

An Taoiseach Michael Martin Will official unveil and cut the ribbon on a new well-being space dedicated to our students. Followed by a podcast interview with our students about his educational background. Subsequently he will give a motivational speech to all students in our Nano Nagle theatre.
