A VISIT TO THE NATIONAL PRINT MUSEUM

In conjunction with College Awareness Week this year, Sarah Grimson from Trinity Access Programme (TAP) went along to talk to students who are currently undertaking the QQI Level 5, Cultural and Heritage Studies course hosted in the historic National Print Museum on Haddington Road. This year long programme prepares students for careers in the heritage sector, such as working in museums or as tour guides. Students also go on to third level for further studies and a current TAP student has come directly from the course. A number of those in current studies expressed a keen interest in TAP once their own studies at Haddington road are completed. Thanks to course leader Rachel O’ Byrne and the students for inviting us along to explore the many routes to further and third level education.
